I currently teach in the Humanities Department at Utah Valley University and in the English Department at Salt Lake Community College. My published research focuses on queer cultural and material ecology in film and literature.
I am a founding editor of saltfront; studies in human habit(at). This is an environmental humanities arts and literary journal for a radically new type of ecological storytelling. We are searching for the newest and most vibrant eco-lyrical expressions—new ways to tell stories of what it means to be human amidst the monumental ecological
transformations taking place on this planet.
